CLK Design Studio takes the privacy of all its customers and users very seriously. We strive to take great care with customer and user information. This Privacy Policy outlines how your personal information is collected, used and treated as part of the terms and conditions of this site. CLK Studio may at any time change this policy by publishing a new version on the website. You accept that by doing this, CLK Studio has provided you with sufficient notice of the change.


CLK Studio may collect certain specific personal information from our website, telephone calls and written correspondence, to provide our customers and users with an individually tailored range of services.

Data protection

We operate in accordance with current data protection legislation, and are compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

The information we collect

We may, for example, keep a record of your name, mailing address, home telephone number, mobile telephone number, e-mail address and preferences.

IP addresses

Every time you connect to our website, we store web server logs which show your unique IP address. This identifies what you have looked at; whether the page request was successful or not; and which browser you used to view the pages. This data will only be used for statistical purposes and personalisation purposes only and helps to inform us about the usage of the site and how many hits we receive.


Although currently not in use, we may use ‘cookies’ to identify you when you visit our website to build a demographic profile. A ‘cookie’ is a small piece of information sent by a web server to a web browser, which enables the server to collect information back from the browser. ‘Cookies’ are frequently used on websites and you can choose if and how a cookie will be accepted by configuring your preferences and options in your browser.

Your personal information will be disclosed only to relevant representatives and working groups of CLK Studio. Only necessary information is disclosed. All reasonable steps are taken to ensure all information is accurate, complete and up to date. We will not sell, distribute or disclose your information to third parties. However, from time to time, we may include information from a sponsor, partner or arts organisation.

Professional Practice

CLK Design Studio (the company) abides by the Architectural Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 44 of 2000) (the Act), which provides for the registration of Candidates and Professionals as:

  • Architects

  • Senior Architectural Technologists,

  • Architectural Technologists and

  • Architectural Draughtspersons


In terms of Section 18(2) of the Act a person may not practise in any categories contemplated in the Act, unless he/she is registered in that category. Only persons registered with SACAP in a Professional registration category, may practise or render architectural services directly to the public. Persons registered as Candidates must perform architectural work under the supervision of a mentor, registered with SACAP in a Professional registration category, equal to or above that of the Candidates.


As such, the company employs the special oversight of a registered professional to oversee all work being produced for the public and to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Clients are invited to request further details on such information at the contact details indicated below.
